Account overview & active runs
What this is
Section titled “What this is”The Account area is the organisation-level home in MaxoPerf. It surfaces your current plan, your access summary, and a usage preview chart, all in one place. The Active runs page extends this view to a live, cross-workspace run monitor so account owners can see every queued, provisioning, or running test across the entire organisation without switching between workspaces.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”- Account overview: Left navigation → Account (account nav group) → Overview (
/account) - Active runs: Left navigation → Account → Active runs (
/account/active-runs)
Both entries live in the collapsible Account group at the bottom of the left navigation sidebar.
Account overview
Section titled “Account overview”The Account overview page is an organisation-level summary. It shows who you are, which organisation is active, your current plan, your effective access, and a usage preview chart.
What the overview shows
Section titled “What the overview shows”| Card / section | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Metric strip | Plan label, account display name, count of your effective access-grant lines, and the number of usage-preview sample points |
| You | Avatar initials, display name, and email for the currently signed-in user |
| Organisation | Account display name, account id (monospace, copyable), and plan label |
| Your access | A plain-language bullet list of every access grant effective for your user on this account |
| Usage preview | A time-series chart of sampled usage units for the account (sample — not the full billing ledger) |
How to use the Account overview
Section titled “How to use the Account overview”- Navigate to Account → Overview in the left navigation sidebar.
- Read the metric strip at the top for a quick signal: plan tier, organisation name, number of access lines, and how many usage sample points are loaded.
- Check the You card to confirm which user is active — useful when you are switching between multiple accounts.
- Read the Organisation card to confirm the active account id and plan. The account id is useful when raising support requests.
- Review Your access to see your effective grants expressed in plain language (e.g. “owner”, “editor on workspace X”).
- Glance at the Usage preview chart to spot trends in usage unit consumption across the sample window.
Active runs
Section titled “Active runs”The Active runs page shows every test run currently queued, being provisioned, or actively executing across all workspaces in the account. It refreshes automatically every few seconds.
What Active runs shows
Section titled “What Active runs shows”The page renders an Active runs dashboard scoped to the entire account (source: account). It lists every in-flight run in real time, with columns for run id, test name, workspace, status (queued / provisioning / running), runner count, and elapsed time. A workspace filter lets you narrow the list to a single workspace without leaving the page.
How to use Active runs
Section titled “How to use Active runs”- Navigate to Account → Active runs in the left navigation.
- The live table loads automatically. Rows refresh every few seconds — you do not need to reload the page.
- Use the workspace filter dropdown (populated from your workspace list) to narrow the view to a specific workspace.
- Click a run row to navigate to the Run detail page for real-time Logs and Metrics.
- Leave the filter on All workspaces to monitor the full organisation during a load event or incident.
Tips & gotchas
Section titled “Tips & gotchas”- Empty active runs? It is normal when no tests are currently executing. The list only shows in-flight runs; completed and failed runs appear in Runs — read results.
- Usage preview is a sample. The chart on the overview uses a sample series, not the complete billing ledger. Do not use it for billing reconciliation.
- Account id is the stable reference. The display name can be changed; the account id (visible in the Organisation card) is the stable identifier for API calls and support requests.
- Workspace filter persists in the session — re-select “All workspaces” if you filtered to a single workspace and want the full cross-workspace view again.
- Your access is computed server-side. The access lines shown in “Your access” reflect the effective grants resolved by the authorisation layer, including team-based grants and direct workspace roles.
